Hands On Video: New ASUS Transformer Prime 700T – Full HD Screen and Ice Cream Sandwich

When we were invited to check out the all new and super high-def ASUS Transformer Prime 700T (previous version was TF201) for ourselves, we jumped at the opportunity. Ever since ASUS took the lid off their all new and improved Transformer Prime a few days ago, I was curious to see if performance would suffer because of the new HD display. Pushing 1920×1200 pixels (technically, a little higher than regular ‘ol 1080p) across the screen is no easy task and whether it was the Tegra 3 processor or Ice Cream Sandwich (most likely a combination of both), one thing is for certain — the new T-Prime flies. There was absolutely zero lag when navigating the homescreen and app drawers and while I didn’t get to run any benchmarks on the device (that will come at a later time), I was able to load up a few games like Sprinkle and Showdowgun for a quick test run. How to Root ASUS Transformer Prime on Android 3.2.1 Honeycomb Using NachoRoot

There are many companies manufacturing tablets with new features and those are sold out, but ASUS’s tablets are the real fighter that has successfully captured the hearts of many gadget lovers. This hottest tablet in the market today is mushrooming and leaving behind the other tablets. A month ago a news hit the tech world that you gonna feel the textures on the screen, when there is a picture of rock or any sandy image when you slick your finger tip on the screen you will feel the coarse or grainy feeling and if the picture of silk is on display then it will feel like super smooth texture.  This e-sense technology is the upcoming feature in Asus Transformer Prime by Senega.

If you have ASUS Transformer Prime running on Android 3.2.1 Honeycomb than, you will be able to root it with the steps given below. There is no custom recovery or custom ROM available yet for Transformer Prime but you can use powerful root-only apps once you get root access.

Note – Techcular will not be responsible for any loss of data or device damage in the following steps. Just take your time and root at your own risk.

How to Root ASUS Transformer Prime on Android 3.2.1 Honeycomb:

Step 1: Download ADB (Android Debug Bridge) on your PC.

Step 2: Download NachoRoot file on your PC

Step 3: Download SU (Super User package) file on your PC.

Step 4: Allow USB debugging by tapping on Setting->Application->Development.

Step 5: Now connect your Transformer Prime with your PC using a USB cable.

Step 6: You need to open a command prompt in the system then steer to ADB directory on your PC and type the following one after other:

adb push nachoroot.bin /data/local/ 
adb shell chmod 777 /data/local/nachoroot.bin
adb shell /data/local/nachoroot.bin –stage1
adb reboot

Step 7: The device will boot and once it has done, use the following commands:

adb shell /data/local/nachoroot.bin –stage2 
adb reboot

Step 8: Again you device will boot and once again you have type the following command:

adb shell id

Note – If you don’t find the result as 0, then go back to step 5 until the shell id shows 0.

Step 9: If all goes well and 0 appears then use the following commands:

adb remount 
adb push su /system/xbin/su
adb shell chown 0.0 /system/xbin/su
adb shell chmod 06755 /system/xbi/su
adb shell /data/local/nachoroot.bin –undo
adb reboot

Step 10: Now the tablet will boot normally. To complete the process, download and install SuperUser Market Link on your Transformer Prime.

[How To] Root Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime With One Click

A few days back, Transformer Prime users were delighted at the news of the device being rooted. The method involved a few manual commands and strings that some users most probably did not fancy going through. However, thanks to XDA-Developers forum member -viperboy-, there’s a one click root solution in place, meaning even the most novice of Transformer Prime users can no easily root their device.
This one click solution is basically the NachoRoot (by jcase) process much simpler. Named the viperMOD Primer, this tool allows you to unroot your device as well. The tool is meant for Windows right now but according to the developer, a Linux version should be around the corner. So we’ll cut to the chase and move ahead with how to use the tool.
